Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Locums - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, CRNA Openings

Coverage Dates
ASAP - Ongoing Need

Schedule
Minimum of 2 weeks per month required
Monday - Friday, primarily 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Typically 5 shifts per week
Flexibility with shift length and work location is required based on coverage needs
Must be available to work 4 weeks per month (full-time availability)
Call, nights, and weekends are required
CRNAs will not be asked to float mid-shift but must be willing to float between facilities as needed

Required Experience & Procedures
Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience required
No new graduates
Pediatric experience required and willingness to perform pediatric cases
Experience with Trauma, Cardiothoracic, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics required

Facility Information
Level I Adult Trauma Center
Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Level III NICU
Average monthly surgical volume: 1,200 cases
Average monthly OB deliveries: 300

Call Requirements
Weekend call rotation approximately one weekend every other month (Saturday and Sunday beeper call)
Call and weekend coverage required
One facility does not require CRNA call coverage

Requirements
Board Certified CRNA required
Must reside outside the state of Florida
Florida providers will not be considered
Out-of-state providers must submit a current out-of-state driver's license with presentation
Must have a clean file
PALS, ACLS, and BLS required
All life support certifications must be through the American Heart Association
