Summary Mammography Tech – Full Time, First Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Job Description Operates digital mammography equipment to include screening and diagnostic mammogram images, needle localization, galactogram of the breast as requested by a radiologist. Job Duties Perform mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures following established protocols and guidelines. Operate mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate images, adjusting settings as necessary for optimal results. Position patients correctly and comfortably for imaging procedures. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including patient information, images, and any relevant documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and ensure accurate interpretation. Requirements Technical Diploma - Completion of training in Radiologic Technology or Military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program. Current license through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. BLS. ARRT registered or registry eligible; must obtain Mammography credential through ARRT within 1 year of eligibility. Preferred Requirements Mammography experience preferred.
