Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric Specialty (RT PEDS), located in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients within a healthcare facility. The role involves evaluating patient conditions, administering treatments, operating ventilatory equipment, and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires delivering patient education and performing procedures in accordance with professional standards and policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) registered credential, Pediatric Specialty certification, at least 2 years of relevant experience, Ohio state licensure, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and advanced airway management.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, performing assessments, operating ventilatory and diagnostic equipment, and assisting with procedures such as tracheostomy care and chest physiotherapy. Responsibilities include documenting treatments, monitoring patient responses, communicating with medical staff, and maintaining equipment. The candidate is expected to follow all policies regarding laboratory testing, medication administration, and emergency procedures according to established guidelines.
