In this pivotal role, you'll consult on, develop, and implement innovative talent strategies that enhance executive succession health. Your expertise in leadership assessments, analyzing talent data, crafting compelling narratives, and utilizing modern talent technology will be essential for identifying and nurturing the next generation of executive leaders.This is a unique opportunity to advance our executive talent management practices, ensuring long-term leadership strength and association-wide success. Relocation assistance is available.What you'll do:Leads complex, comprehensive Talent Management projects from strategy through implementation, adoption, and stabilization.Consults with senior business leaders to deeply understand the business and develops and implement talent programs and solutions to address their biggest needs.Develops and delivers data-driven insights and materials to support talent practices and talent deliverables.Creates and manages programs for specific employee populations, such as military-affiliated talent, high potential talent, and any other key segments as well as critical skills for the future of the workforce.Uses data analytics to inform leadership development talent strategies, proactively identifies skill development opportunities based on business needs, identifies trends, and measures program effectiveness (ROI).Manages vendor relationships and partners with USAA procurement to ensure optimal outcomes.Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.What you have:Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.8+ years of experience in enterprise-level talent program and process development and implementation with a focus on talent development (e.g. coaching, mentoring, rotations, leadership development, talent pipeline planning, learning, skills management).Advanced knowledge of various talent management technology solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with senior executives.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic talent management initiatives.Proven ability and experience managing and influencing senior leaders and peer stakeholders.Uses technology, AI, and/or automation to work efficiently and champions these behaviors among teammates.Stays attuned to advancement in research and practice and applies those insights to work.Experience managing change in support of organizational or programmatic initiatives.Demonstrates a structured approach to problem solving while balancing competing priorities.What Sets You Apart:Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional planning skills.Ability to project confidence, clarity, and composure in all interactions, inspiring trust and influencing stakeholders effectively, particularly during high-stakes situations.Proven success in consulting, developing, and implementing talent solutions for executive-level leaders to improve succession health.Desire to operate as a player-coach across the team, balancing hands-on execution with developing team members.Proficiency in using leadership assessments to support succession management.Deep understanding of association talent data and benchmarks and an ability to craft objective and insightful narratives through data and storytelling.Background in I/O psychology or an adjacent discipline.Military acumen gained through active service or as a military spouse.Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310 - $243,340USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
