Maintenance Technician

Description Nyhus Enterprises is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to help maintain our equipment, building systems, and facilities. This position is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair projects. Monday through Thursday from 6:00am - 4:30 pm or 10:00am - 8:30pm Opportunities for overtime on Fridays. $25 - $30 per hour Responsibilities Include: Inspect equipment and machinery to identify maintenance and repair needs Troubleshoot problems and determine the appropriate repairs Use equipment manuals and building blueprints when planning repairs Perform general building repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, and other fixtures Complete routine preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems Assist with maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilities Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance Help develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety programs Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous maintenance, facilities, or repair experience preferred General knowledge of carpentry and building repairs Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices preferred Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in tight or awkward spaces Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds What Nyhus Enterprises Offers: Four-day regular work schedule Opportunities for Friday overtime On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Health insurance Dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and paid holidays Safety allowance and additional employee benefits Nyhus Enterprises is a family-owned contract manufacturing company specializing in powder coating, e-coating, machining, assembly, and other value-added services.
