Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Monte Nido Westchester White Plains, NY Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work at Monte Nido Westchester located in White Plains, NY. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric services to up to 12 adults, all genders, with our day program. Flexible schedule: approximately 8-12 hours/week. Most of the work is remote, with weekly rounds on-site. Responsibilities Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations. Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions. Maintain current and correct progress notes. Psychotropic medication management. Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed. Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate. Provide patient-specific input for discharge planning. Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP. Qualifications Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program. Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP. Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible. Must hold or obtain CPR/BLS certificate prior to providing services. Experience is highly desired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
