Imaging Technician

Job Description 2-4 month contract. Alot of overtime offered. These 5 technicians that we are adding to our existing deployment team will be focused primarily on imaging and staging equipment. This will start as a 2-month engagement to help ensure inventory of devices are prepared to support all deployments. These positions will be mostly at our base location in Warminster and will be a Monday-Saturday schedule averaging approximately 50-60 hours per week. Environment data collection and user communication Data entry, Floorplan editing in Visio Prep and build equipment, including PCs, terminals, and printers Deploy equipment to designated areas within the departments Install EPIC-required peripherals Remove old equipment, as needed Other duties as assigned Knowledge of Active Directory - adding and removing users is helpful Knowledge of SCCM is helpful Technicians will be deploying equipment in support of Abington & Aria's 2020 EPIC EMR Go-Live. Some departments may be as simple as monitor replacement, but some work might be more technical and technicians should be capable of that more technical work. Job Title: Imaging Technician One or more years of experience deploying and reimaging PCs in a corporate setting Knowledge of Active Directory - adding and removing users Experience replacing hardware and minor break/fix - hardware troubleshooting of PCs, monitors, laptops, printers, etc. Worksite Address: 225 Newtown Road, Warminster, Pennsylvania, United States, 18974 The techs will work at all of the Abington/Aria clinical locations and physician sites: Jefferson Lansdale, Jefferson Abington, Jefferson Bucks, Jefferson Torresdale, and Jefferson Frankford. The techs will initially report to the Warminster location every day unless otherwise scheduled to start the day at an alternate location. All techs are onboarded as Level 1 techs. Beginning phases of project will be to procure data and full inventory of environment's current state. This process is followed by Future State Walks to project out what will be where and how workflows will function with Epic, in collaboration with Epic folks, facilities folks, and SME's. Current & Future State Walks are followed by the hands-on deployments of the hardware. This is the phase of the project we are adding techs to. There is a script that techs will follow to ensure they are deploying. This will be fast-paced and need a lot of flexibility from the techs. Following deployments the team shifts into the TDR (Technical Dress Rehearsal) phase of the project, where everything in the environment is fully tested to ensure it works properly with Epic. Finally, Go-Live is when Epic is fully functional in the environment and our folks will be there to support end-users during Go-Live as well as for post-Go-Live support. Drug Test Required: true Experience Level: Entry Level Work Environment: Extremely fast paced. Hours may fluctuate and go past 5 pm, some weekend work, and flexibility is KEY. Hours to start will be 8 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday, but are subject to change throughout duration of project as needs/phases progress. Additional Skills: Visio.
