When you work for IPS, you can learn from industry experts and discover your potential while being part of a winning team committed to upholding our core values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Customer Focus, Entrepreneurial Spirit./ppResponsibilities and Expectations:/pulliPhysical wiring/liliVerification of all non-factory wiring/liliCommissioning of relays/liliSetup and configuration of all network (LAN/WAN) equipment/liliVerification of functionality of all equipment/liliResponsible for job from start to finish/liliPreplanning outages/liliWorking with local PC Oversight/Engineering/Operations to determine and mitigate reduced or inadequate protection situations/liliPlanning and scheduling SCADA checkout/liliOther job duties are as follows in the electrical maintenance and testing of equipment from the 480 volt level to the 345 kV level:/liulliProblem solving/liliAssisting field service teams during maintenance, shut-downs, startups and testing projects/liliReport writing/liliTesting complex relays, including but not limited to distance, directional power, reverse power, negative sequence, differential, motor and generator protection.
