Shift Details: Shift 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM. Shifts Per Week: 5. Scheduled Hours: 40. Start Date: 08/10/2026. End Date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 Week(s).

Description: Monday through Friday - rotating day off. Call requirements: 1 weekend a month and 1 - 2 days of call/week. 1 year of experience. 1st time travelers accepted. We do have 2 techs on call each shift, a primary and secondary.

Technologist must be proficient at supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures utilizing single and biplane radiography units. Trauma 1 and Stroke Center. Do outpatient and inpatient procedures, adults, geriatrics, and peds. All patient acuities.

Neuro and Body procedures. Y90, TIPS, chemo embo, UFE, PAE, trauma, stroke, carotid stent, drains, biopsies, LPs, kyphos, lines, ports, filters, peripheral stents, AV fistula declot/stenting, PE/DVTs. Interventional Radiology department. Utilizing fluoro (Siemens) and US (Phillips). Trauma 1 and Stroke Center. Do outpatient and inpatient procedures, adults, geriatrics, and peds. All patient acuities. McKesson PACS. Cerner Powerchart. 2 Biplane rooms. 2 Single Plane rooms. Dedicated US room. CT procedure room is run by CT techs. 5 Body IR physicians and 3 Neurointerventional physicians. 9 IR techs when fully staffed. 2 techs on call each night, one main and one back up.

This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.

Essential Job Functions: (1) the ability to work at clients assigned work location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement, (2) the ability to work the substantial time of the assigned shift, (3) the ability to take call, (4) the ability to work assigned weekends, and (5) the ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.

Extensions: Effective 4/8/26, travelers can work up to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts, (or 9 months of consecutive service). Following that, traveler must take a mandatory (6) month break before returning to MU Health Care in an agency capacity. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 4-6 hours. Modules are completed during orientation and annually, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded by onsite manager through Cornerstone.
