Travel RN – Surgical ICU (SICU) | San Antonio, TX

 

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

 

Compensation (Based on 36 Hours/Week):

• W2 Taxable Rate: $20.00/hour
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,110.70
• Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $1,830.70

Job Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (Temporary License Not Accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 Years of Recent ICU Experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong Critical Thinking Skills

Preferred Experience:

• MICU and MSICU Background
• IABP Experience
• CRRT Experience
• Meditech Experience

EMR: Meditech

 

Common Procedures Performed:

• Chest Tubes
• Intubations
• Central & Arterial Lines
• GI Scopes
• NG Tubes
• Foley Catheters
• Dressing Changes

Additional Details:

• Rotating weekends required
• No call requirement
• Travelers are required to float based on facility needs
• Full 30-minute lunch break required
• Attendance and punctuality policies strictly enforced
