Quality InspectorThe Quality Inspector's role is conducting incoming inspections, final acceptance, and various in-process inspections as needed.Primary Objectives And ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all Quality Management System (QMS) activities including document change management, records management, training/competency, non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)Conduct receiving inspections per applicable SOPSupport first article inspectionsResponsible for DHR reconciliation and other administrative tasksAssist in the implementation of continuous improvements to Quality policies, systems, programs, and initiativesDistribute inspection results to Quality Leadership for review and analysisParticipate in process and policy improvementParticipate in special projects as neededData collection: Using equipment such as hand measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to collect data for various functions including, but not limited to equipment qualifications, process validations, and first article inspectionsAll other duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent1 – 2 years Quality or other manufacturing experience strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)GD&T comprehension is a plusExperience reading and understand engineering drawingsDemonstrate time management, organizational, and customer service skillsFlexible, coachableProficient in using various precision measuring equipmentStrong communication skills (listening, writing and speaking)Proactive and self-motivatedWork independently; minimal daily direction required to successfully develop deliverablesOperates with a proactive approach towards safety, health and quality in compliance with all company, governmental and regulatory policiesQuality mindsetThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position.
