VP of Finance and Accounting (Luv)

Job Description We are seeking a VP of Finance and Accounting to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role entails overseeing financial and accounting for the business. Responsibilities Forecasting, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Planning, Cash Flow Management and other Finance focused work Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the organization Take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, compliance, and financial performance and reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy. Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and profitability. Oversee end-of-month financial closing processes Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Develop strategies to optimize financial performance and profitability. Qualifications Position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. Must possess a strong understanding and experience in Month End Close processes. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large amounts of data. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial personnel. Proven strategic planning and financial analysis skills including proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. High ethical standards and professionalism, given the sensitive nature of the job. #J-18808-Ljbffr
