Key Responsibilities

Main Duties:

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, or prescribe treatment plans for OB/GYN patients, including those with complex cases.
• Act as the team leader during obstetrical and gynecological emergencies.
• Conduct advanced colposcopy and manage dysplasia treatment for OB/GYN patients.
• Administer and prescribe medications and treatments.
• Oversee and guide the work of all personnel during assigned shifts or in the absence of the regular supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Eligibility: Open to U.S. Citizens.

To qualify, candidates must meet the educational and experiential criteria outlined below. Experience includes both paid and unpaid roles, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, community, student, social). All relevant experience will be considered, including volunteer work. Your resume should clearly detail your applicable experience; if qualifying through education, transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Basic Requirements for Physicians:

• Degree: Must hold a Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada. This degree must be recognized by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation, or another accrediting body acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Education at the time of graduation. For foreign medical degrees, education must be equivalent to accredited U.S. schools, demonstrated by permanent certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the U.S. and graduate education abroad, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
• Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Graduate Training: After obtaining a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, candidates must have at least one year of supervised clinical experience, such as a one-year internship or the first year of a residency program in an accredited hospital or institution.

Additional Qualifications:

In addition to the basic requirements, candidates must also fulfill the following:

• Residency Training: Applicants must have successfully completed accredited residency training in the relevant specialty (Family Medicine) and possess equivalent experience and training totaling at least four years. Experience cannot substitute for the required residency training for the specified specialty.
