3 months contract Location: Maywood, Illinois, 60153 This is a 12-hour shift three days each week, with the shift schedule being from 19:00-07:30, total of 36 hours per week. Respiratory Therapist with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification along with 2 professional references.
Requirements:
- 4 ORs case mix- general, ortho, GYN, breast, cosmetic, urology, spine, podiatry
- 2 endoscopy suites - colonoscopy, EGD
- 1 procedure room - pain injections Davinci, MAKO, Stryker joint navigation, Aquablation, spine navigation
Skills: Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis.
Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome. Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.
