As a key member of our clinical laboratory you will perform and report a wide range of routine and highly complex analyses across multiple lab sectionsdirectly impacting patient diagnosis treatment decisions and clinical outcomes.

What you will do:

• Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood urine spinal fluids and gastric juices.

• Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques and procedures

• Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Position Hours:

• 32 hours Day Shifts rotating wknds/holidays

Requirements :

• BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology

• MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP. Or must be eligible to take Certification exam and achieve certification within the first year of employment.

• Microbiology experience required.
