Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

Chase Memorial is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a full-time basis (30+ hours per week). The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care, support rehabilitation programs, and help patients achieve their functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as appropriate

• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home care programs

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current state licensure as a PTA

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required
