Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required. License: Active NC or Compact license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required. Must-Have: - Required charting experience with EPIC. - Open availability with no blocked scheduling. - Ability to float between High Risk and Labor and Delivery. - Willingness to work every other weekend. Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for providing care to both high-risk and low-risk patients. Familiarity with the administration of medications and understanding of various medical protocols is essential. The nurse will support both antepartum and postpartum care. Skills in managing deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean sections, are required. Candidates should have experience with fetal monitoring and management of complications. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team. This position involves caring for neonates and providing support to new parents. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs are critical. Experience with documentation and compliance in a clinical setting is preferred. The role requires a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.
