As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, controlling visitor access, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will support security-related operations through attentive observation, incident reporting, and exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sun: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor and control entry and exit points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, documenting irregularities and reporting concerns to site leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
