Jr. Enterprise Watch Officer

Location: Springfield, VA Company: Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) Jr. Enterprise Watch Officer Chenega MIOS supports large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting‑edge technology. The Jr. Enterprise Watch Officer provides proactive collection, dissemination, and monitoring of mission system and site status, and leads coordination and collaboration for critical incident resolution to deliver situational awareness to NGA executives and CIO‑T leadership. Responsibilities Manage Critical Priority 1 tickets to resolution Monitor operational activities of all cells within the ESC (e.g., PSOC, CSOC) to maintain centralized situational awareness of the overall health of NGA IT services Communicate the status of the operational infrastructure Provide briefings to senior leadership on the status of the IT enterprise Prepare and deliver the Daily Operations briefs Collect, coordinate, and brief upcoming days AOs Recommend appropriate mitigation activities to minimize downtime, minimize mission impact and restore services as soon as possible Assist in assessing the impact of events and incidents on mission capability, prioritizing service restoration activities, and providing final assessment of mission impacts prior to conducting authorized actions Coordinate with impacted mission partners during unscheduled outages to advise of outage status, remediation actions, and projected restoral times Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience Associate’s Degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience Or 6+ years of relevant experience TS/SCI Clearance Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree Active CompTIA Security+ Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Operational experience with ServiceNow Experience in the Intelligence Community Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance Ability to work Panama Day or Night Shift hours; considered a “Floater” on the team Ability to work independently and effectively within a team setting Capable of managing multiple efforts with time‑related constraints in a fast‑paced contracting environment Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and experience working in a home office setting, including training end users on technical issues Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired Good problem‑solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it #J-18808-Ljbffr
