Production SchedulerDevelopment facility located near Atlanta, Georgia. The new building is a 40,000 sq ft facility with state-of-the-art laboratory and manufacturing operations. We're looking for a proactive Production Scheduler & Buyer to join our growing team and help keep operations running smoothly.This dual role blends planning and purchasing expertise ensuring materials are available, production runs on schedule, and our customers receive products on time.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction SchedulingDevelop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Warehouse teams to align capacity, staffing, and materials.Monitor work orders and adjust schedules to meet customer demands and resolve bottlenecks.Track progress against deadlines and communicate any risks or changes.Purchasing & ProcurementSource and purchase raw materials, packaging, and supplies at competitive pricing.Build strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms.Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent shortages or overstock.Collaborate with Finance and Operations to manage purchasing budgets and cost savings initiatives.Cross-Functional SupportPartner with R&D and Quality Assurance to align material specifications with production needs.Support new product launches by ensuring timely sourcing and scheduling.Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems and generate weekly purchasing/scheduling reports.Qualifications35 years of experience in production scheduling, supply chain, or procurement (manufacturing environment preferred).Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and production planning tools.Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and pivot in a fast-paced environment.Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.What We OfferCompetitive salary with full benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k).Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional growth in a fast-expanding company.A supportive team environment where your contributions truly make an impact.
