A growing Menomonie manufacturer is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join their team assembling medical-grade plastic components used in essential healthcare products. POSITION - Assembly Operator
JOB LOCATION - Menomonie, Wisconsin (Dunn County)
STARTING DATE - Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm
STARTING PAY - $17.00-$20.00 per hour DOE, plus $0.75 shift differential

REQUIRED EDUCATION - High School Diploma or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience preferred. 2-3 years of solid, recent work history strongly desired.

In this role, you will help assemble and inspect medical-grade products while maintaining strict quality and cleanliness standards. The employer is seeking career-minded individuals with a positive attitude, strong attendance, and a willingness to learn. Recent graduates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and inspect parts from the production line
• Hand-assemble medical plastic components
• Utilize hand tools and assembly equipment as required
• Rotate between workstations and production tasks
• Package and label finished products
• Perform visual quality inspections and identify defects
• Complete required production documentation
• Work in cleanroom environments as assigned
• Follow all safety, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Assist in other production areas as needed

Qualifications :

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds or more
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small visual defects and color variations
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with required protective equipment
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong attendance record and dependable work history
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to long-term employment

Additional Information:

• Onsite orientation and safety training provided
• Training may occur on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift
• Cleanroom environment may require gowns, masks, hair nets, beard nets, and boot covers
• Cross-training opportunities available throughout the facility
• No cell phones or earbuds permitted in production areas
• Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch
• No smoking permitted on company property
• All required PPE is provided by the employer
