Step into an impactful role supporting K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is rooted in collaborative, student-centered care, serving Lemasters Elementary and potentially assisting one additional nearby school. The caseload presents meaningful work, focusing on children with a broad range of communication needs—including non-verbal students who utilize AAC devices. Flexibility is valued in this district environment, as staffing assignments may shift to best meet student requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Missouri SLP or SLPA license
• School-based SLP/SLPA experience preferred
• Skillful in working with children who use AAC communication methods
• Ready to complete time-sensitive credentialing (fingerprinting, TCN submission, technology form)
• Available for full-time hours (37.5 per week), following the academic calendar until late May
• Comfortable collaborating within a team-oriented and adaptive atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services aligned with individualized student goals
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of service minutes (~3400 per month)
• Support non-verbal students with AAC device implementation and progress
• Communicate regularly with educators, families, and related service providers
• Adapt services as needed across 1-2 assigned school sites
