Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure
• Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Familiarity with sensory integration, fine motor, and daily living skill interventions for children
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ individual therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide consultation and recommendations to facilitate student access to educational environments
• Support inclusive practices and student participation in school activities
