Job Title: Area Safety & Quality Officer
Location: Modesto, CA
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Salary: $216,700 – $255,000/year + 20% Target Bonus

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Safety & Quality Officer to oversee quality, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance across two hospitals in the service area.

This is a Director/Senior Director-level leadership role requiring strong clinical quality experience and the ability to work closely with hospital and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality and patient safety programs across two hospitals.

• Oversee clinical quality improvement, risk management, and infection prevention initiatives.

• Monitor quality metrics and drive performance improvement.

• Lead regulatory, accreditation, audit, and survey readiness activities.

• Partner with physicians, clinical teams, and executive leadership.

• Oversee patient safety events, investigations, and corrective action plans.

• Use data and quality trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active RN license required.

• Director-level or above leadership experience.

• Experience leading a Quality Department .

• Strong inpatient hospital experience .

• Experience overseeing quality programs across multiple hospital/service areas.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare quality, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
