About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Security Officer to serve as the primary advisor on a range of security matters, including physical security, crisis and incident management, insider threat, and travel and event security. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent global security standards while allowing for local execution. This role demands a strategic and operationally grounded leader with executive presence, strong judgment, and deep subject-matter expertise. Key responsibilities for the Chief Security Officer include building and leading the Global Security Operations Center team, overseeing the maturation of crisis management and incident response, and promoting a culture of safety and security awareness. The role also involves utilizing advanced analytics and threat intelligence to inform security strategies, collaborating with various teams on security requirements for global operations, and leading security assessment and mitigation initiatives. To qualify for the Chief Security Officer position, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and over 15 years of security leadership experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing. Certifications such as PSP, CPP, or equivalent are highly desirable, as is experience with global regulatory frameworks and eligibility for high-level security clearance. The role requires a proactive approach to security, the ability to lead change management initiatives, and a commitment to embedding a security culture across global operations. The Chief Security Officer will also be expected to lead investigations and serve as a liaison with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
