Description: The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. This unit does not accept first-time travelers. Weekend commitment is required every other weekend. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary as needed. Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant in time, there may be a push back of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within specified timeframes. All RTO requests must be finalized at the time of submission. No requests for RTO or schedule changes can be made post-offer.
