This role partners with operations leadership to improve financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing costs. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead * Monitor manufacturing variances and provide detailed analysis of production performance * Prepare and review inventory reconciliations, cycle count adjustments, and physical inventory results * Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory reserves, scrap, and manufacturing efficiencies * Partner with operations and plant leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements * Support month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations * Manage the fixed asset ledger, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliation to the general ledger * Oversee Construction in Progress (CIP) tracking — ensure costs are properly accumulated, projects are placed in service on time, and capitalization policies are applied consistently * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual standard cost roll processes * Develop and maintain cost accounting reports, KPIs, and financial dashboards * Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards * Support external audits and provide requested financial documentation and analysis * Assist with ERP system enhancements, costing updates, and process optimization initiatives * Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, supply chain, and production Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments * Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis * Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing financial processes * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities * Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel * Experience with NetSuite a plus Compensation details: 90000-115000 Yearly Salary PIf07b67cea3d5-29400-40537162
