Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Fort Bragg, CA. This travel assignment starts October 12, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group using the nursing process and established standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document care and outcomes
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning
- Provide patient and family education; ensure a safe, healing, and humane environment
- Delegate appropriately and oversee the work of the nursing team while maintaining professional judgment

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, NRP required; STABLE certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in the relevant field; acute care/ER experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity setting and function within a Critical Access Hospital environment
