Product Management Associate Director

Position Overview:The Product Management Associate Director will spearhead a range of products to enhance profitability, capture more market share, and ensure the longevity of the portfolio. This role involves crafting and executing multi-year strategies that cater to consumer demands, competitive landscapes, operational abilities, and overarching business goals.Beyond product strategy, the role involves fostering strong ties with manufacturing partners and ensuring seamless coordination between product management, supply chain, and production operations. The Associate Director collaborates closely with R&D, operations, supply chain, quality assurance, finance, marketing, sales, and external manufacturers for successful product development, launch, and lifecycle management.The ideal candidate blends strategic vision with firsthand manufacturing and supply chain experience, serving as a collaborative leader to drive innovative, operationally sound, and commercially successful endeavors.Responsibilities:· Lead and guide a team of product managers, instilling a culture of ongoing enhancement.· Oversee product P&L management to align financial performance with business targets.· Supervise strategic product plans, crafting multi-year roadmaps to unify cross-functional teams.· Develop and execute lifecycle strategies for product launch, growth, modifications, and retirement.· Manage new product development projects from concept to market, collaborating with internal departments like innovation, operations, supply chain, finance, sales, and marketing.· Act as a liaison between R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment from development to commercialization.· Aid in contract manufacturing oversight, coordinating external partners for product launches, capacity planning, quality control, and cost management.· Identify operational risks and strategize proactive solutions related to supply, production, and regulatory matters.· Manage a range of product initiatives, prioritizing resources, returns, and risk exposure.· Create strategic launch plans to test product positioning, claims, and market reception.· Monitor innovation initiatives using key metrics, such as product vitality, to assess impact and adjust strategies as needed.· Collaborate with channel management to implement product strategy and meet revenue targets.· Partner with marketing leadership on product campaign development.· Implement product strategies to handle channel conflicts and maximize market reach.· Collaborate with professional veterinarians to identify key opinion leaders (KOL) for enhanced product credibility and visibility.· Develop and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation and marketing effectiveness.· Punctual attendance is essential.· Fulfill other duties as necessary to meet company objectives.· Maintain effective communication with other departments and excel in a team setting.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:· Strong strategic acumen to translate market insights into actionable plans.· Creative marketer skilled at crafting resonant product experiences for target audiences.· Experience in supporting contract manufacturing management and supplier coordination.· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex product initiatives.· Strong financial understanding including P&L management and margin optimization.· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.· Results-driven mindset focused on innovation and business growth.· Self-motivated, adaptable, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.· Technical product and commercial experience blend.Experience and Skills:· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
