Technical Manager

Role Description The Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position oversees technical operations related to the company’s medical equipment portfolio, including coordinating installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for distributors and end users. The Technical Manager leads technical staff, assigns tasks, and ensures that service and support activities meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves managing technical projects, supporting product development initiatives with R&D, and contributing to technical documentation, training materials, and process improvements. Daily activities include analyzing technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on complex cases, and maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to diagnose technical issues, interpret data, and support evidence-based decision making. Team management and leadership abilities to guide technical staff, delegate responsibilities, and foster collaboration. Technical support experience, including troubleshooting, customer-facing assistance, and post-sales service in medical equipment or related fields. Background in research and development (R&D) and project management to support product improvements, new technology initiatives, and structured project execution. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree is an asset. Knowledge of medical device standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL, occasionally travel to distributor locations, and adapt to a fast-paced, global environment.
