Creative Director
MGA Entertainment
Location: Chatsworth, CA Reports to: VP of Creative Marketing & Creative Shared Services Lead the creative behind the world’s most iconic doll brands. L.O.L. Surprise!™, Rainbow High™, Bratz®, Mirror Mi, MiniGlam. MGA Entertainment’s doll portfolio is legendary, and we’re looking for a Creative Director to shape how these brands look, feel, and show up in culture. You’ll lead campaign creative from concept through delivery across digital, social, broadcast, retail, and experiential, building brand worlds that kids and collectors fall in love with. If you have a distinctive creative point of view, a sharp eye for styling and set direction, and a genuine passion for doll culture, fashion, and fandom, this is your role. What you’ll do Lead 360° campaign creative for launches, brand initiatives, and seasonal moments across MGA’s doll portfolio Turn brand strategy into compelling concepts, narratives, and visual direction Set the creative vision for photo and video shoots, from mood boards and sets to props, styling, lighting, and composition Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, producers, and content creators Create platform-native content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, plus assets for broadcast, email, print, retail, and e-commerce Extend brands into trade shows, retail displays, sizzle reels, influencer kits, and experiential activations Protect each brand’s distinct identity while keeping it fresh and culturally relevant Partner closely with Brand, PR, Product Development, Operations, and Retail to deliver cohesive campaigns Manage briefs, timelines, budgets, freelancers, and agency partners What you bring 7–10 years in creative marketing, art direction, graphic design, or brand development, including 3+ years in creative leadership A strong portfolio showing integrated campaigns, visual storytelling, hands‑on design, and photo or video art direction Experience in dolls, fashion, toys, entertainment, or consumer lifestyle, with deep knowledge of doll and collector communities Hands‑on experience directing shoots, including set concepts, styling, and product presentation Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator) and working knowledge of Figma Experience creating for Gen Alpha, Gen Z, collectors, and millennial parents Excellent presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills in a high-volume environment Fluency in creator culture, YouTube unboxing, and TikTok‑first storytelling Experience with mass retail and e‑commerce environments like Walmart, Target, and Amazon Collaborating with global teams, licensors, and external partners Why MGA You’ll lead the creative for some of the most beloved doll brands on the planet, with the freedom to bring a bold point of view and the chance to see your work everywhere from TikTok feeds to store aisles worldwide. #J-18808-Ljbffr MGA Entertainment
