Press Assistant

1st Shift - 8am-4pm - $18.82/hr 2nd Shift - 4pm-12am - $20.07/hr 3rd Shift - 12am-8am - $20.32/hr ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Use and maintain all required PPE. Follow all facility and departmental SOPs, safety procedures, safe work practices, and work instructions. Maintain pace with press cycle times. Grind parts and remove pull-tabs as parts come off the press, in accordance with customer standards. Follow all quality standards by performing visual, in-process, and final inspections of parts, and report defects to the Production Supervisor and/or Quality Technician. Sort all parts accurately according to the labeling system. Communicate shift updates clearly, including job status and any part issues or variations, to Process Technicians and Quality Technicians. Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
