Great Lakes Wine & Spirits strives to provide an ever-escalating standard of innovation and service to its customers and to responsibly enhance demand for its products. Great Lakes Wine & Spirits continues to grow as we seek a Night Shuttle Driver for our warehouse depots in Grand Rapids.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Shuttle Driver will be delivering product with a tractor/trailer between our Grand Rapids depot to cross docks located throughout Michigan. These locations include but are not limited to Saginaw, Highland Park, Detroit, Kalamazoo, Gaylord and Traverse City. Other duties include but are not limited to:Perform pre/post trip inspectionsFollow all D.O.T. and State regulated laws including HOS and ELD complianceUnload product at cross-docksAssist in separating and staging productOperate power and manual pallet jacksOperate hi-lo equipmentPerform clean-up of area as neededTake loads to other depots to cover other driversOther tasks as assigned by supervisionWork ScheduleThis is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday with start times varying between 9 P.M and 12 A.M.  Start times may fluctuate and occasional Fridays may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.   Work Environment & Physical DemandsThe Shuttle Driver will be on the road in all weather conditions.  This position is also physically demanding in nature, separating and loading cases, and requires the Delivery Associate to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds. Pay & Benefits$31.32 per hour Quarterly Attendance Bonus Vacation and Personal Time8 Paid HolidaysCompetitive benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Programs, and Group Legal coverage.Buy-Up Life Insurance and Disability coverage available.Eligible for 401K enrollment upon date of hire.Required Qualifications21 years of age and olderChauffer and CDL A license with airbrake endorsementHi-Lo and Pallet Jack experienceMust be willing to work in all weather conditionsWillingness to take direction and work independentlyAbility to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs. Acceptable driving record Additional Requirements:Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities. A valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required for this position.
