Bartender

PONTE Modern American

Description:
PONTE Bartenders ensure that patrons have an excellent dining experience by providing quality customer service and providing beverage service for the restaurant. Bartenders work in the front of the business taking orders, serving food and drinks, and providing all beverages needed for the restaurant. Bartenders are responsible for setting up and closing the bar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Positive attitude, Clean appearance, Smile
Setup and breakdown of bar and bar area
Attend to guests upon entrance and exit of PONTE bar and bar area
Full knowledge of food and beverage menu Menu presentation to guest
Take and serve orders
Must be able to up sell and make recommendations from the menu
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff (team player)
Involve management with any issues and be able to handle adversity.
Issue bills and accept payment preparation of and execution of all beverages for PONTE

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years bartending experience (Fine Dining Preferred)
