Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time Norwalk at Autumn Lake, Norwalk, CT. $33-$36/hour. Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation department within a skilled nursing facility. The role involves working closely with residents recovering from surgery, illness, injury, and mobility decline while supporting functional improvement and independence. Position Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Assist residents with strengthening exercises, gait training, transfer training, and balance activities. Monitor resident response during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the supervising PT. Encourage resident participation and support achievement of individualized therapy goals.
