Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 10-bed community hospital ICU requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

10-bed ICU setting within a community hospital

Cares for critically ill adult patients including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis

Occasionally manages pediatric patients requiring stabilization prior to transfer

May manage acute stroke patients via telestroke/tele-neurology services as part of a Primary Stroke Center

12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week

Every third weekend required

No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

Active NH or compact RN license required

BLS and ACLS certification through AHA required

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Provide direct critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population, with occasional pediatric and stroke cases

Local candidates accepted

Returning employees must complete a 6-month break between any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility assignments

Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
