We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize operational functions within a growing financial services organization. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, drive process improvement initiatives, manage operational risk, and ensure the delivery of high-quality client service. The role will partner closely with senior leadership to support organizational growth, operational scalability, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and service excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance operational processes, controls, and workflows.
  • Drive automation, process improvement, and scalability initiatives.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage operational risk and support regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Lead audits, reviews, and remediation activities as needed.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing operations teams.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex operational matters.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
  • 7 years of progressive operations leadership experience within financial services, banking, wealth management, fiduciary services, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, managing operational risk, and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with operational systems, workflow tools, and process automation initiatives preferred.
