Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on operational requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient health and wellness goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, including third-degree heart blocks and pediatric rhythms
• Experience with high-acuity inpatient environments
