As a Security Officer Patrol in Nanuet, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer serving an educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.12 - $23.12 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 07:15 AM – 03:15 PM Tue 07:15 AM – 03:15 PM Wed 07:15 AM – 03:15 PM Thur 07:15 AM – 03:15 PM Fri 07:15 AM – 03:15 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site. Minimum Requirements Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, which is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
