Civil Staff Engineer - Bridgeport, WVSalary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with BenefitsA motivated Civil Staff Engineer for a reputable firm in the Bridgeport, WV area. This role offers a unique "earn-while-you-learn" mentorship environment focusing on Water Resources and Land Development. You will work directly with senior leadership to design infrastructure that shapes the local community.Responsibilities:Assist in the design and development of civil engineering solutions for land use and water systems.Support senior engineers in planning, site visits, and the execution of engineering projects.Prepare high-quality technical reports, permit applications, and project documentation.Conduct research and data analysis to solve complex site-specific engineering challenges.Ensure all project phases meet strict safety, environmental, and quality standards.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.EIT (Engineer in Training) or EI certification is preferred but not required.0–3 years of engineering experience (Internship experience is highly valued).Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a major plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.Ability to participate in periodic local day travel to project sites.Benefits Package:Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability.401(k) Plan with company matching.Paid Time Off (PTO).Tuition assistance and professional development opportunities.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
