Front Desk Team Member
$20 - $26 per hourMurray Hill Tennis
Job Description
Job Description
Front Desk Experience Associate (Part-Time)
Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour
This is not a typical front desk job. This is a vibe-setting, energy-creating, community-building role at one of New Jersey’s most loved boutique tennis spaces. We’re looking for a magnetic, hospitality-obsessed human who makes people feel seen the moment they walk in the door—someone who moves fast, notices everything, and genuinely cares about creating beautiful daily experiences.
About Murray Hill Tennis
Murray Hill Tennis is a six-court indoor tennis club in New Providence, NJ offering elevated programming for adults and juniors—clinics, leagues, private lessons, and cardio tennis—inside a warm, design-forward, community-driven space. Locally owned. Professionally run. Loved by our clients.
Your Energy Here
You will be the heartbeat of the building.
The calm in the rush.
The smile people remember.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and genuine enthusiasm.
- Anticipate needs before they’re spoken.
- Communicate with clarity across calls, texts, and email.
- Keep the day flowing—reservations, details, timing, energy.
You Might Be Perfect If You...
- Love hospitality, wellness, fitness, or boutique retail environments.
- Notice the tiny details others miss.
- Stay poised and kind in fast-moving moments.
- Communicate beautifully—in person and in writing.
- Take pride in doing things exceptionally well.
Why This Role Feels Different
- High-energy, positive, design-forward workplace.
- Tight-knit, supportive, ambitious team.
- Employee perks on tennis and MHlab retail.
- Work that feels meaningful, social, and alive.
Schedule
- 20 hours per week.
- Fridays 5-10pm, plus a weekend shift.
- Not a traditional 9–5—and that’s the magic.
Location
Please apply only if you live within ~20 minutes of New Providence, NJ.
