As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Albany, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, support badge processes, and help maintain a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will use computer and/or tablet systems while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors, verifying access permissions, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a financial institution location.
• Monitor lobby activity, visitor logs, identification checks, and access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Support daily front desk operations by answering questions, directing foot traffic, documenting security-related incidents, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors regarding site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
