Charge CT Radiology Technologist (Nights) - No weekends or Call!

Position: Full‑Time Charge CT Radiology Technologist (Nights) Location: Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, MO) Shift: Overnight, Mon – Thurs 8:00 pm – 6:30 am; 4 days per week. Night Shift Differential added to hourly pay rate. NO WEEKENDS OR CALL! 3‑day weekend (Fridays off). Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures. Perform studies independently, including on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area. Oversee shift operations: daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjust priorities to meet department needs. Enter/escalate IT and equipment tickets. Serve as clinical resource and expert for technologists – provide problem solving, assist with difficult exams, and provide mentorship. Act as clinical liaison between team and supervisor; ensure proper communication and escalation. Delegate tasks to ensure proper daily operations. Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor. Maintain and order supplies for department needs. Qualifications Education: Associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher) in radiography. Certification: Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R). Experience: 2–5 years supervisory experience, or 5–10 years experience in advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, IVR, etc. Preferred experience in roles such as Lead Tech, Charge Tech, Senior Tech, Supervisor, Radiology Department Lead, Chief IR Technologist, or similar. Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only), MRIRTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
