Support pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail environment in Phoenix, AZ, where your expertise as a pharmacist is valued and essential. This per diem position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work approximately 2-4 days per week, providing coverage during call-outs, vacations, and periods of increased volume.

Pharmacy Hours of Operation:

• Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Some locations may extend hours until 8:00 PM

Shift Details:

• Hours are not guaranteed; the role is designed to support the team on an as-needed basis
• Ideal for pharmacists seeking part-time work with a commitment to availability for coverage

Responsibilities:

• Manage prescription processing with an average daily volume of 100-125 prescriptions
• Ensure medication safety and accuracy in dispensing
• Collaborate with technician staff where available; some smaller sites are pharmacist-only, requiring independence and advanced preparation
• Participate in training sessions, including an initial 8-hour dedicated training shift, with additional training offered as needed
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software for daily operations
• Maintain current immunization privileges and BLS certification to support patient care services

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Valid immunization privilege and BLS card
• Familiarity with QS1 software is beneficial, with training provided
