Job Summary The 5th Grade Science Teacher helps students learn about science through lessons, experiments, and hands‑on activities. Responsibilities Teach science lessons to 5th grade students. Plan fun and engaging activities and experiments. Explain science concepts in a way students can understand. Encourage students to ask questions and explore ideas. Maintain a safe classroom environment. Assess student learning and provide feedback. Skills Needed Knowledge of elementary science topics. Good communication skills. Patience and enthusiasm for teaching. Ability to organize lessons and activities. Education Requirements Teaching certification (if applicable). Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
