Altaher Insurance Agency is looking for an Insurance Sales Representative who enjoys helping people make confident decisions about their coverage. In this role, you will be part of a local agency that values clear communication, genuine service, and lasting client relationships. Based in Orland Park, Illinois, this position gives you the chance to work with individuals and families who want guidance they can trust, not pressure they do not need. Your work will matter every day because the conversations you have will help protect homes, cars, businesses, and futures. Base Salary Plus Commissions
Responsibilities- Connect with prospective clients and help them understand insurance options that fit their needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through responsive, thoughtful service
- Follow up on leads, renewal opportunities, and cross-sell conversations in a timely way
- Review client coverage needs and recommend appropriate policy changes or additional protection
- Stay informed on products, market changes, and industry updates that affect your clients
- Close sales and meet or exceed sales targets
- Explain insurance products (auto, home, life, health, commercial, etc.) in plain language
- Active insurance license required for P&C in Illinois
- Proven experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related client-facing role
- Comfort handling leads, follow-ups, and sales conversations with professionalism
- Ability to learn carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and policy details quickly
- Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM systems, email, and digital quoting tools
- Organized approach to managing multiple client accounts and deadlines
- Preferred: experience with personal lines or commercial insurance products
