Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed unit serving adult and older adult populations at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
• Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry, including administration of Heparin drips and other acute medications as ordered
• Care for trauma patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Utilize specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Documented Medical/Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Must be able to provide completed skills checklist reflecting Med/Surg and Telemetry competencies
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings
• Prior NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) training
• Experience working with geriatric patient populations
