Laundry and Cleaning Position Duties & Responsibilities

Laundry Duties (Morning Shift)

• Load all dirty linens and towels and transport them to the laundromat.
• Wash and dry all linens and towels according to company standards.
• Return all clean laundry to the office.
• Fold all linens and towels neatly and correctly.
• Pack cleaner supply bags for the next day's cleans.
• Follow all property-specific bag packing procedures and inventory requirements.
• Training will be provided on proper packing procedures for each property.

Cleaning Duties
Once laundry and bag preparation are completed, cleaning duties will begin. Employees will be required to:

• Make all beds according to company standards.
• Clean and sanitize all common areas.
• Wash and put away dishes.
• Dust all surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Clean window sills and baseboards.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen appliances.
• Ensure all outdoor patio furniture is clean, neat, and properly arranged.
• Verify that each property is fully stocked with the required inventory and supplies.
• Report any missing, damaged, or low inventory items.

Inspection Duties
At the completion of cleaning assignments, employees will:

• Conduct inspections on all properties with same-day turnovers and upcoming check-ins.
• Follow all company inspection checklists and procedures.
• Verify that cleaning standards have been met in every area of the property.
• Ensure the property is guest-ready before check-in.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or concerns immediately.
