Job Description Since its inception in 1954, Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) has been a cornerstone of healthcare in Central Texas. With a network of 17 state‑of‑the‑art outpatient imaging centers and collaborations with 24 area hospitals, we are at the forefront of medical imaging in the region. Our partnership with Radiology Partners in 2019 has further enhanced our capabilities in AI technology, expanded our scale, and integrated us into a comprehensive national infrastructure. MRI Technologist – Cedar Park Monday‑Friday; 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Position Summary Maintain MRI protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead(s). Perform and maintain daily check‑ups and quality control on MRI scanners required by the American College of Radiology (ACR), the state Department of Health Services, and other credentialing organizations as required by law. Perform IV insertion when contrast is needed following OSHA guidelines. Identify each patient and review exam paperwork with the patient; obtain appropriate medical history. Confirm that all images are sent to PACS per policy and procedures and verify tech notes and required documents have successfully transmitted to PACS. Desired Professional Skills and Experience Graduate of a recognized, approved AME council of Education program in radiological technology. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). Current BLS certification. Demonstrable ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency. Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
