Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for a variety of orthopaedic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes
• Deliver one-on-one, patient-centered care to ensure optimal results and high patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and other rehab professionals
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT, OTD, or equivalent)
• Active Tennessee Physical (Occupational) Therapist license (or eligibility)
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or interest in pursuing this certification
• Experience with orthopaedic patient populations preferred
  
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity conditions (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder)
  • Develop and implement advanced, individualized treatment plans
  • Provide specialized interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education
  • Design and fabricate custom orthoses/splints
  • Manage post-operative rehabilitation protocols in collaboration with referring surgeons
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
• Interest in professional development and continuing education
• Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs) Certification
